Seventeen years ago yesterday Jay and I started "hanging out."We boycotted Valentine's Day the following day since neither of us were dating anyone. We wore all black and baked devil's food cupcakes with cream cheese icing with sprinkles (a la box mix and canned icing.) For many years after that, we did the same thing (baking the cupcakes, not wearing black.) It was a comical way to begin our relationship and we always get a good laugh when we talk about it.
